Back to School: COVID-19 Test Kit Distribution August 19,22,23 & 24

Information provided by TUSD Communications Office via email 8/9/22:

In preparation for the first day of school on August 25th, we continue to stay vigilant and take steps to keep students and staff healthy. As we have done before, we will be distributing at-home test kits and strongly recommend all students and staff test prior to the return of school.

Testing kit distribution will take place on the following days and times:

Elementary School students/parents may pick-up test kits at the main entrance of their school site from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on any of the following days: August 19, 22, 23, and 24.

Middle and High School students will be offered their test kit during registration at their school site. 

Each test kit will include two (2) tests. Please use one of the tests on August 24th (keeping the second test for later, if needed) and report your positive test results (no need to provide negative results) here:

Taking the testing kit home and testing before returning to school is voluntary, but strongly recommended. Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to keep one another healthy and safe.

Regreso a la Escuela: Distribución del Kit de Prueba de COVID-19 

En preparación para el primer día de clase, el 25 de agosto, continuamos manteniéndonos alerta y tomando medidas para mantener saludables a los estudiantes y al personal. Como hemos hecho anteriormente, distribuiremos kits para hacerse la prueba en casa y también recomendamos encarecidamente que todos los estudiantes y el personal se hagan la prueba antes de regresar a la escuela. 

La distribución de los kits para la prueba será durante los siguientes días y horarios: 

Los estudiantes/padres de la escuela primaria pueden recoger los kits para la prueba en la entrada principal de la escuela de 10:00 a 12:00 durante de los siguientes días:

19, 22, 23 y 24 de agosto. 

A los estudiantes de las escuelas intermedias y preparatorias se les ofrecerá el kit para la prueba el día de la inscripción en su escuela. 

Cada kit de prueba incluye dos (2) pruebas. Por favor, use una de las pruebas el 24 de agosto (guarde la segunda prueba para más tarde, por si fuera necesario) e informe de resultados positivos de la prueba (no es necesario informar de resultados negativos) aquí:

El llevarse el kit de prueba a casa y realizarse la prueba antes de regresar a la escuela es voluntario, pero se recomienda encarecidamente. Gracias por su cooperación mientras trabajamos juntos para mantenernos sanos y seguros.
