5th Grade Community Service Project

Project: BOSS
(Bringing our Student’s Supplies)

Project BOSS is a collaborative effort with funding currently from Torrance Council of PTAs, individual PTA units, and the Association of Torrance School Administrators. The main objective of Project: BOSS is to ensure that all TUSD students have the necessary tools to successfully complete school work while at home and at school. It is the intent of the program to put essential school supplies into the hands of students whose families may not be in the position to provide them with this very important need.

Every child deserves to have a positive, productive start to the school year and by offering
school supplies to those families in need, we believe that we can do our part in helping our TUSD students be prepared for a great start to the school year. We have done our homework, researching the needs of students at different grade levels, compiling supply lists and talking to teachers and administrators, etc.

These supplies are for our local students to help start their school year off right, so please donate NEW/UNUSED supplies.
