Welcome to Torrance Unified School District, and thank you for your interest in our Early Childhood Education Preschool Programs. We are proud to offer a diverse range of enriching preschool options tailored to meet the unique needs of families in Torrance and neighboring communities. Our programs foster the growth of young learners through developmentally appropriate curriculum, social-emotional learning, and inclusive classroom environments that lay a strong foundation for success in Transitional Kindergarten and beyond.

We offer both part-day and full-day, multi-age preschool programs for children ages 3 to 5, with fee-based and income-eligible options to meet the needs of every family. Across all programs, our dedicated educators are committed to nurturing curiosity, fostering essential social skills, and creating warm, welcoming learning environments where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to thrive.

In addition, our programs offer care and curriculum grounded in the California Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations, which promote age-appropriate early learning and development. All preschoolers are encouraged to explore, create, problem-solve, and build language skills through play, collaborative group activities, and individual choice.
