Welcome to the Hickory Elementary Library
The Hickory Elementary library and its team of parent volunteers serve students weekly. Students have access to hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books including many Newbery Medal & Award winning books. The library supports classroom curriculum in all grade levels. The wide variety of easy & beginning readers and picture books promote literacy to our earlier readers. Similary, our advanced readers have access to hundreds of popular fiction titles and authors as well as resources to research projects and reports.
The students visit the library on a weekly basis creating a heavy traffic of books that is managed by a dedicated library committee led by PTA Library Chair Ms. Bertulano. They are supported by an army of parent volunteers that help students find and check out books.
