Hello and welcome to Fern!

I am Angela Escobar, a seasoned professional with a passion for education and community. In 2018, I transitioned from a successful 15-year corporate career to embark on a new and fulfilling journey with the Torrance Unified School District. My path led me to West High initially, and in 2021, I found my true calling at Fern.

With a wealth of experience gained over 15 years in the corporate world, I bring a unique perspective to my role as School Staff Assistant at Fern. My corporate background has equipped me with valuable skills which I have integrated into the educational environment.

Beyond my professional endeavors, my connection to Fern is deeply personal. My child attended this school, and I am eagerly anticipating the day my toddler becomes a part of the Fern family. This connection reinforces my commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment.
