Welcome to Room 46!

I'm so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year! I grew up in Torrance and went to Victor Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School, Bert Lynn, and graduated from West High.  This is my hometown and it's an honor to teach at the school that I have attended myself! 

Teaching is my passion and hobby! In my free time, I enjoy yoga and tennis, and spending time with my family.  I've taught all grade levels from Kindergarten through adults in my 20 years of teaching with 15 years in Torrance Unified. The experience teaching abroad in Japan and Taiwan has strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction for students from all ethnic and social backgrounds.  My philosophy of teaching is to accommodate students of all levels and to inspire them to yearn for lifelong learning.
