Andrea Rice

Hello!  My name is Andrea Rice and this is my 22nd year in TUSD, 25th year as a school counselor, 30th year in education and 6th year here at Lincoln! 

I am from Cali, but went to college in Nebraska, earning a softball scholarship as a pitcher, and received my Bachelors Degree. I then went home to Cali, started teaching HS English and went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Education and K-12 School Counseling and a Pupil & Personal Services Credential at Azusa Pacific University. 

I have two beautiful teenage daughters and a dog that I adore!!  I love hearing about all of my older daughter's college endeavors and also watching my high school daughter run hurdles in track and cheering her on!   I also enjoy golfing, shopping, traveling, wakeboarding, snowboarding and most outdoor activities.

The mission of the Lincoln School counseling department is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that empowers all students to discover their full potential through their growth in academic, personal and social/emotional domains.  In partnership with all stakeholders, the school counselor will encourage all students to become successful lifelong learners and problem solvers.
