Enrollment for the 2022-23 school year begins in January for Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten.
Please visit the TUSD Family Center website for more information
Open Enrollment is for Torrance residents who want to transfer to different Torrance schools. Per Ed Code 35160.5b, TUSD established a policy allowing Parents/Guardians who live within TUSD boundaries to apply to have their children attend a school other than their home school.
Once a year, from January to February, applications are accepted for the following school year.
For the 2022-23 school year, the application process will be online and begins in January. Please visit the tusd.org website for more information. https://www.tusd.org/parents/enrollment/open-enrollment
English Language Mulitcultural Advisory Commitee (ELMAC) meetings are held with the parents of English Language Learners four times a year. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the school program and obtain ideas on how Lincoln Elementary can better focus on the student’s educational needs as an English Language Learner.
All parents of English Learners are encouraged to attend the ELMAC and District meetings. For ease of communication, there are translators at all scheduled meetings. This is a good opportunity to discuss how Lincoln Elementary can help your child succeed.
For more information, please contact the school office.
The District English Learner Multicultural Advisory Committee (DELMAC) is intended to provide a forum for sharing information with parents, as well as to allow a regular means for parents to communicate their needs, concerns, and suggestions at the District level. This committee is also required by law.
DELMAC meetings are held four times a year.
