Dear Towers Community,
I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich legacy of success and so many points of pride. Towers is a place where strong connections are made between home and school and staff members are committed to developing the whole child.
Let me share some of my background information with you. Professionally, I possess over 18 years of experience in the field of education. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in education from University of Washington. I started my career as an elementary classroom teacher in Seattle and also taught at Jefferson Middle School as a math teacher upon moving to Torrance. I, then moved on to become adistrict math resource teacher and spent 6 years working with the K-12 teachers in Torrance to support their math instruction. The last two years I served as the Assistant Principal at Hickory Elementary School. Personally, I am a wife and mother of two wonderful children who also attend Torrance schools.
One of the most important aspects of my work here at Towers will be building strong relationships with students, teachers, and families. You’ll find me in the hallways, classrooms and on the playground getting to know your child(ren). My passion has been and always will be educating students. With that in mind, you can expect that I will work diligently with teachers to make sure our students receive high quality curriculum and instruction that is both engaging and challenging. Working together as a team with our staff, parents, and community, I am committed to helping each student achieve their very best.
