Reflections

Reflections is a national Arts contest for students. Sponsored by PTA (information and theme will come from  Torrance Council of PTAs).  Student submissions are gathered in October/November.

Honorary Service Award
This is a special ceremony held in February honoring teachers and parents nominated by the Lincoln community for their service to the school.

Teacher Appreciation Week
One week even it May that celebrates Lincoln's amazing teachers and staff. Since 1984, National PTA has designated one week in May as a special time to honor the men and women who lend their passion and skills to educating our children. PTA events at the national, state and local levels celebrate the outstanding contributions teachers make.

Box Tops for Education
Box Tops and Labels for Education are collected and submitted to the parent company in exchange for funds and goods for the school.

Earth Week
In April we  promote environmental awareness.

Book Fair
Two book fairs are held during the school year (December and June). Books sold are used toward programs at Lincoln.

Library
The PTA organizes a team volunteers to assist students with borrowing books and keeping the library organized. The PTA purchases books for the library . 

Student Incentive 
The PTA contact local businesses to donate reward/certificates for students. These are given to our students during Friday assemblies.

Paws on Art
Volunteers with the chairperson to teach an art project 3 times a year. 

Bike Rodeo
Held in March with the assistance of Torrance Police Department. The rodeo is open to 3rd - 5th graders at Lincoln. Winners of Lincoln's  Bike Rodeo move on to the District level competition. 

Winterfest
Lincoln PTA brings snow to Lincoln. This is a one day event held on a Saturday in January or February.  All proceeds benefit the 5th graders.
