Honorary Service Awards

Each year our PTA recognizes outstanding volunteers -- individuals and organizations -- that have gone above and beyond in their service and dedication to our children, our school, and our community, to receive the Honorary Service Award (HSA). Honorary Service Awards are given to people who volunteer their time, and go above and beyond to help not only our school and our children, but our community as well. Nominees can be someone who volunteers at Edison, but can also be someone who volunteers for sports teams such as AYSO, Little League or Softball, in their church, with Scouts or anywhere in our community. The nominee should be someone that is an advocate for all children. Honorary Service Award winners are presented with a special framed certificate from State PTA and a donation is made in their name to the State PTA Scholarship Fund.

Volunteer Now!

The PTA needs volunteers! Big or small, your efforts will make a difference to Edison students! By volunteering your time and talents you can support all Edison students and enrich our community.

As parents we all support our children with their education. As a PTA, we work collaboratively to support the school through many events and volunteer opportunities. Together we can ensure that every child succeeds. Please explore all of the pages in the PTA section to learn more about how the PTA supports the students of Edison, and how you can get involved.

• Complete the Volunteer Interest Survey to submit your contact information and volunteer interests to the PTA Volunteer Coordinator. You may also download the printable version of this form here.
• Finally, if interested in an on-campus volunteer position, click here to fill out the District's online Volunteer Application. This form must be resubmitted every year. You will be notified by the District when your application has been processed and you are cleared to volunteer on-campus.
