First Week Updates

Welcome Back to the 2020-2021 school year!

Here are some quick notes to help us start school tomorrow.

PowerSchool: The most CURRENT and Up-to-Date schedule information is reflected in your child’s PowerSchool account.  Unfortunately changes made over the past three days is not reflected in the Google Classrooms established on Sunday.

Google Classroom Codes: Please note we have replaced classroom numbers with the correct Google Classroom Code needed to join the correct Google Classroom which is reflected in your child’s schedule. This is a work in progress, if your class does not have a code yet, please be patient as we gain access to, and populate other school’s Google Classroom Codes. (This may take a few days to fully update.)

Bell Schedule for WED: We understand that there may be some confusion as the schedule in PowerSchool does not reflect what we are using. Please see the attached schedule for the current Bell Schedule that we will be using.

Student Help: Office staff will be monitoring our Contemporary Issues Class LIVE! While our school starts. Remember to start EACH DAY by checking in to your Contemporary Issues Class.  We will post daily announcements and if cases have been canceled.

Schedule Changes/Fixes: Please use the following link to report problems with your first day schedule. We have several office staff members monitoring this form to help address issues in an accurate and timely manner. FIRST DAY Scheduling Issues Form

Elective Issues: Please understand that Elective classes are requests and may not be able to be accommodated due to classes being full or conflicts in the schedule. Thank you for your understanding.

First Day Classes: Make sure students are ready to log-in to their google classrooms:

·         Students need to check their TUSD email for a link to their teachers’ classes

·         Use PowerSchool to verify what classes students are enrolled in

·         If your child has not received an email from their teachers, please email the teacher directly to obtain the link to the Google Classroom.  This can be done through PowerSchool.

Technology: Chromebook Needs?

This year it is essential that every student is online and has a working computer/Chromebook with a camera and a microphone.  If you would like to check-out a Chromebook from us, please submit a request to us via the following link: Chromebook Request Form

Google Classroom: The video link below can assist students with navigating Google Classroom:
