Reading books is a wonderful way to connect with children while also teaching important lessons in a developmentally appropriate way. Referring to books and social stories when approaching difficult topics such as anger and jealousy makes it easier for children to see the world through another person’s perspective–it also helps to strengthen insight and self-reflection.
