Adapted Physical Education Teacher

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT: Must have a valid California teaching credential and a valid adaptive physical education emphasis credential. Must have CLAD or equivalent certification. CBEST required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a planned instructional program in Adaptive Physical Education following a course of study specified by District regulations. Provide learning experiences to encourage maximum student growth using appropriate materials. Attend and participate in faculty meetings & other staff development to maintain professional competence. Promote a classroom environment that is conducive to student growth & responsibility.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: The annual period of employment shall be 10 months. The beginning salary will range from $43,359.00-$60,950.00, based on education & experience. District paid employee medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits available
