Science Teacher (Biology)

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT: Must have a valid California Single Subject teaching credential. In addition, must have CLAD or equivalent. CBEST required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide a planned instructional program in Science (Biology) following a course of study specified by District regulations. Provide learning experiences to encourage maximum student growth using appropriate materials. Attend and participate in faculty meetings & other staff development to maintain professional competence. Promote a classroom environment that is conducive to student growth & responsibility.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: The annual period of employment shall be 185 days. The beginning salary will range from $43,359.00 to $60,950.00, based on education and experience. District paid employee medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits available.
