TUSD Students Share Their Visions of Unity

May 10, 2008

Every year students from all four TUSD high schools submit entries in one of 5 categories – sculpture and ceramics, painting and drawing, poetry, essay, and fiction – for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Visions of Unity art competition. Student entries explore ways individuals can work together to cultivate greater healing, harmony, and understanding within their communities. For the 10th year, this unique collection of student art displayed the talents of young artists whose expressions conveyed ideas of unity. The Martin Luther King Jr. Visions of Unity contest is a long-going community tradition which is sponsored by the Human Relations Forum of Torrance.
