Every year our District conducts a Teacher of the Year program. This program gives fellow employees the opportunity to nominate a teacher who contributes in special ways to the welfare and education of our students. Please send your completed nomination form to Dr. Mario Liberati – Senior Director – Human Resources by Friday, May 16, 2008 @ 5:00 p.m.
We are proud to announce that once again Saturn of Torrance will be awarding the TUSD Teacher of the Year award recipient a complimentary two-year lease on a 2008 Saturn car, including all scheduled maintenance. The presentation will be made at a special award’s dinner sponsored by Saturn on June 11, 2008.
Also, our TUSD Teacher of the Year award recipient will be continuing on to the Los Angeles County competition, and honored at a very special Teachers of the Year Awards Luncheon in October. Information on the Los Angeles County Teachers of the Year 2008 Program is available at www.lacoe.edu/toy
