North High Student Rallies His Peers Against Education Cuts

Dustin Tygret, junior at North High School, has collected letters opposing proposed education budget cuts from community members, teachers, and his fellow students, in an efforts to hand deliver them to his local representatives this week in Sacramento.
Dustin is part of Sacramento Safari, a PTA sponsored legislative trip, which allows student delegates to visit the California Capitol and meet with their legislators. Students leave this week for the annual visit.
