CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Furey at 3:30 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Furey.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES –Regular Meeting of February 19, 2008
Dr. Klonecky moved, seconded by Dr. Griffith, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 19, 2008 be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
APPROVAL OF ELIGIBILITY LISTS- Accounting Specialist, Mechanic-Parts Technician, Special Education Office Assistant
Dr. Griffith moved, seconded by Dr. Klonecky, that the Eligibility Lists –Accounting Specialist, Mechanic-Parts Technician, Special Education Office Assistant be approved. Motion carried 3/0.

COMMENTS FROM STAFF
Dr. Koga noted that the quarterly Classified Connection Newsletter would be sent to employees tomorrow.
Dr. Koga announced the sad news of the passing of Michael Tram, a classified employee. She noted that he was the Audio-Visual Telecommunications Equipment Technician and that funeral services would be held this Saturday, March 8, 2008.
COMMENTS FROM PERSONNEL COMMISSIONERS
Dr. Griffith requested that the Personnel Commission meeting be adjourned In Memoriam of Michael Tram as a current TUSD classified employee. Dr. Griffith noted that he attended the recent ECT in which the honored school was Towers Elementary. Dr. Griffith invited everyone to attend the upcoming Torrance Symphony on Saturday, March 8, 2008, 8:00 p.m. at the James Armstrong Theatre.
Mr. Furey announced that the Torrance Education Foundation raffle tickets for a Toyota Prius automobile are available with half of the proceeds going to the school of your choice. Dr. Griffith added that the proceeds will also help with the purchase of band uniforms.
