Dr. Owen Griffith Reappointed to Personnel Commission

On November 26, 2007, at a Special Meeting of the TUSD Board of Education, the Board reappointed Dr. Owen Griffith to the Personnel Commission for a three-year term commencing on December 1, 2007. Dr. Griffith was first appointed to the Commission in May 1999. His many accomplishments include being a former member of the Torrance Unified School District Board of Education, 1967-1995, with five terms as president. He continues to be active in many local organizations and school related associations.
