West High’s Football team has had a very promising year so far with 5 wins and 0 losses. Brian Baucham, South Bay Player of the Year, returns to the team for his Senior Year.
Last season West’s hard work on the field was rewarded with various recognitions and accolades. Coach Greg Holt was honored as 2006 South Bay Coach of the Year and the team enjoyed an impeccable record as an undefeated team in the 2006 Bay League. As CIF finalist in 2006, West has rightfully earned the distinction as the best team in the South Bay.
Friday night’s Homecoming game is a wonderful opportunity for the team to demonstrate their talents on a national platform.
