District Technology Plan
Executive Summary

The Torrance Unified School District supports technology as an essential part of education and the TUSD Strategic Plan identifies technology as a strategic direction. The vision of the strategic plan recognizes the need for our students to be information literate to compete in the twenty-first century.
Our technology plan is comprehensive and addresses curriculum; professional development; infrastructure, hardware, technical support, and software; funding and budgeting; and monitoring and evaluation. The plan is comprehensive and includes ideas and suggestions gathered from all segments of the school community: faculty, staff, parents, students and other stakeholders.
This plan will serve as a measurable and valuable guide to assist in improving the academic achievement of all students.
