CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Dr. Griffith at 3:32 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES –Regular Meeting of February 20, 2007
Dr. Klonecky moved, seconded by Mr. Furey, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 20, 2007 be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
APPROVAL OF ELIGIBILITY LISTS-Behavior Analyst, Campus Security, Custodian
Dr. Klonecky moved, seconded by Mr. Furey, that the Eligibility Lists-Behavior Analyst, Campus Security, Custodian be approved. Motion carried 3/0.

COMMENTS FROM STAFF
Dr. Koga stated our attorney, Kristine Kwong, has reviewed our Personnel Commission rules and that revisions would appear on the next agenda.
COMMENTS FROM PERSONNEL COMMISSIONERS
Mr. Furey noted his and Dr. Griffith’s attendance at the Educational Council of Torrance (ECT) luncheon on March 5, 2007 in which the Torrance Education Foundation (TEF) was featured. He reminded everyone of the Annual TEF Dinner on Saturday, March 31, 2007, 6:30 p.m. at the Torrance Marriott Hotel and further noted that a new 2007 Toyota Prius will be raffled with tickets still available.
Dr. Griffith commended Mr. Furey on TEF’s wonderful presentation at ECT. He stated it was good to see the positive results and the support that TEF provided to teachers for their innovative student programs. He concluded with the announcement of the upcoming Torrance Symphony “Celebration of Youth” on Saturday, March 17, 2007, 8:00 p.m. at the James R. Armstrong Theatre.
COMMENTS FROM THOSE IN ATTENDANCE
Ms. Kathy Kelly, CSEA Chapter 845, requested clarification of the reclassification process.
Ms. Peggy Shannon, CSEA Labor Representative, suggested that the new positions of Child Development Enrollment Clerk I and II be monitored in order to ensure proper union designation is retained.
