CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Dr. Klonecky at 3:30 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Heath.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES --Regular Meeting of February 21, 2006
Dr. Griffith moved, seconded by Mr. Busch, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 21, 2006 be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
APPROVAL OF ELIGIBILITY LISTS -- Behavior Analyst, Child Development Instructor, Child Development Program Assistant-Tier I/ Tier II, Fiscal Services Assistant, Human Resources Analyst, HVAC Mechanic, Senior Accounting Specialist
Mr. Busch moved, seconded by Dr. Griffith, that the Eligibility Lists -- Behavior Analyst, child Development Instructor, Child Development Program Assistant-Tier I/Tier II, Fiscal Services Assistant, Human Resources Analyst, HVAC Mechanic, Senior Accounting Specialist be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
COMMISSIONER REQUEST-- Salary Schedule Information
Dr. Koga pointed out that the certificated salary schedules incorporated additional educational units such as the Master's Degree within the schedule.Personnel Commissioners expressed concern at the differences between both certificated and classified salary schedules noting that additional studies of these inequities may evoke change in the future.

COMMENTS FROM STAFF
Dr. Koga noted that classified employees would soon receive another edition of our Classified Connection Newsletter. She reported her completion of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Grassroots Public Service Academy and commended Don Lee and Dee Hardison on providing an outstanding program to the community. She further noted that she was now enrolled in Partners in Policing in the Torrance Police Department, which is a ten-session program.Mr. Heath noted that he recently provided an inservice to classified employees of the Torrance Tykes Preschool Program during their student-free day on March 3, 2006.
COMMENTS FROM COMMISSIONERS
Dr. Griffith noted that both he and Dr. Koga had attended the ECT luncheon on March 6th in which Wood Elementary School provided an outstanding program.
