Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt Adopts Victor Elementary School

Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt Owner Stuart Nemiroff talks to students at Victor Elementary School during a ceremony in which his company formally adopted the school January 23 in conjunction with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Adopt-A-School program. Victor Elementary School Principal Ada Garza, TUSD Superintendent Dr. George Mannon, Torrance Mayor Dan Walker, TUSD Assistant Superintendent Patricia Hughes , Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman Philip De Souza and Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Adopt-A-School Director Donna Duperron were among the many honored guests at the ceremony which signified the start of the school/business partnership. Adopt-A-School is a national partnership program that has matched private sector expertise and resources with education needs in Torrance since its inception here in 1982.
