TUSD is a Tobacco Free School District
Smoking and the use of all tobacco products shall be prohibited on all District property including District vehicles at all times. This prohibition applies to all employees, students, visitors and other persons at any school-sponsored activity or athletic event. It applies to any meeting on any property owned, leased or rented by or from the District. The Superintendent or designee shall inform students, parent/guardians, employees and the public about this policy. All individuals on District premises share in the reponsibility of adhering to this policy and informing appropriate school officials of any violations.
The District shall maintain a list of clinics and community resources that may assist employees and students who wish to stop using tobacco products. Information about these programs shall be made available upon request to Pam Reed, Health Resource Teacher at 972-6974.
