CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Dr. Klonecky at 3:30 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES –Regular Meeting of October 5, 2004
Mr. Busch moved, seconded by Dr. Griffith, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 5, 2004, be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
APPROVAL OF ELIGIBILITY LIST - PLUMBER
Dr. Griffith moved, seconded by Mr. Busch, that the Eligibility List - Plumber, be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
INFORMATION ITEMS
Next Regular Commission Meetings:November 2, 2004, 3:30 p.m. – District Office Board Room
Job Announcement: Child Development Instructor, Child Development Program Assistant-Tier I/Tier II, Instructional Assistant-Bilingual (Japanese, Korean, Pilipino, Spanish), School Secretary I, Certificated Personnel Technician.
COMMENTS FROM STAFF
Dr. McCann noted that the communication from Attorney Betty Ann Downing and related materials regarding the Resolution to Approve a Title and Summary for a Citizens Initiative to Terminate the Merit System and Personnel Commission (Board of Education Meeting of September 7, 2004, Minutes, pages 75, 76, and 77) was forwarded to the Torrance Unified School District Board of Education members, Superintendent, and other prominent public and union officials. (Copy attached for reference)
