CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Dr. Klonecky at 5:35 p.m.

Personnel Commissioners:

Torrance Unified School District Board Room, 2336 Plaza del Amo, Torrance, July 8, 2003

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mrs. McCalman.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Dr. Griffith moved, seconded by Mrs. McCalman, that the minutes of the regular meeting of June 17, 2003 be approved. Motion carried 3/0.

APPROVAL OF ELIGIBILITY LISTS
Mrs. McCalman moved, seconded by Dr. Griffith, that the eligibility lists for ASB Accounting Technician, Food Services Supervisor I, Health Clerk, and Instructional Assistant/Bilingual be approved. Motion carried 3/0.

APPROVAL OF PROPOSED CREATION OF NEW CLASSIFIED POSITION-GROUNDS PROJECT LEAD
Mrs. McCalman moved, seconded by Dr. Griffith, that the proposed creation of the new classified position of Grounds Project Lead be approved. Motion carried 3/0.

APPROVAL OF PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CHAPTER 14
Mrs. McCalman moved, seconded by Dr. Griffith, that the First Reading of proposed revisions to Rules and Regulations, Chapter 14, be approved as submitted. Motion carried 3/0.

APPROVAL OF NEW CLASSIFICATION-WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT (WIA) TESTING SPECIALIST
Dr. Griffith moved, seconded by Mrs. McCalman, that the new classification of Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Testing Specialist be approved. Motion carried 3/0.
