R30 - Language Census

The R30 Language Census (R30-LC) is collected each spring. The purpose of the survey is to collect background and programmatic data on students from non-English language backgrounds enrolled in public schools in California. These data are collected and submitted to the California Department of Education per California Education Code1 and federal case law.
