Curriculum and Instruction

The District is committed to providing on-going professional development for all teachers to ensure curriculum and instruction align with the Common Core to create 21st century learning opportunities for our students. Through unique in-house workshops, instructional coaching from TUSD content-area experts, and school-based professional learning communities, teachers, administrators, and staff receive cutting-edge and research based perspectives to maximize student learning opportunities.

Advanced Placement (AP)

The Advanced Placement® Program (AP) offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams in high school and earn college credit, advanced placement, or both at many colleges and universities in the U.S. and around the world. Discover more at https://parents.collegeboard.org/

The 2024 AP Exams will be administered in schools over two weeks in May: May 6–10 & May 13–17. Based upon availability, TUSD will support the AP testing of inter-district students. Limited access will be available within our regular testing window (5/6-5/17). The late testing administration will not be available for inter-district students.

Each high school will be managing their own inter-district requests. Please contact the school of your choice using the information below to confirm if they are able to accommodate additional students.
